Outdoor Education

Leave the confines of a classroom behind you and join our innovative course specially developed for teachers eager to transform their classes!
We will show you how to make the most of your school and its surroundings, be it immediate or more distant, and to change the educational process into a learning adventure. The suggested activities can be employed by teachers across subjects and educational levels, from kindergarten to secondary and vocational education. The course’s objective is to inspire teachers to look for new forms of planning and giving engaging lessons.
The course consists of two components.
The indoor sessions will give you the tools to leverage the school environment. Our activity-packed course centres around personal experience and self-reflection through a combination of physical, cognitive, and emotional elements. Thanks to the methods and teaching techniques taught at the sessions you will know how to transform your lessons into a learning expedition. This, in turn, will help you to enhance your students’ learning process, making it more productive and more lasting. There will also be enough time for participants to present their schools and the main activities they have developed there.
The other component of the course focuses on various cultural activities, and includes exploring Poland’s former capital city - Kraków, visits to museums, art galleries, natural wonders such as the world-famous Wieliczka salt mine, and other places of interest. Upon your request, the course can also encompass a visit to a memorial site from the Second World War – Auschwitz.
The course adopts a contemporary approach to new learning scenarios, embracing multidisciplinary learning activities, both within the school premises, and utilizing the abundant possibilities offered by nature.
Your trainer, Barbara Legutko, is looking forward to welcoming you to Kraków.
