English for Teachers

The course is a mix of English and methodology allowing teachers to develop their language skills and refresh their methodology in the context of CLIL. The course consists of over 25 lessons and aims to develop and refresh the language. CLIL methodology will be introduced.

Objective: Enhance English language skills for more effective communication and introductory of CLIL for teachers of different school subjects

• Effective communication strategies for the classroom

• Vocabulary building and usage in teaching 

• Day 2:

• Basic Grammar/ CLIL learning scenarios

• Dive into different grammatical structures

• Syntax and sentence construction for clarity

• Practical application in lesson planning

• Day 3: Engaging Language Activities in different school subjects

• Interactive sessions on language games and activities

• Incorporating creativity in language teaching

• Peer-to-peer practice and feedback

• Day 4:

• Describing Daily Routines

• Vocabulary for Classroom Activities

• Integrating Basic Language Skills with Subject Content

• Group Task: Creating Simple CLIL Activities

• Day 5:

• CLIL Strategies for Teaching Grammar

• Vocabulary and Phrases in a CLIL Context

• Role-play: CLIL Scenarios
